Today is the last day for discounted tuition for the West Haven Council on the Arts Summer Youth Theatre production of ‘Xanadu Jr.’! (AGES 8-18)

West Haven Summer Youth Theater is producing Xanadu JR!

The West Haven Council on the Arts camp-style program is open to children 8-18 years old. It runs from June 19th to August 4th under the direction of Lara Morton and Musical Direction of Karen Wagner-Iovanna of Wagner-Iovanna Studios.

Rehearsals are held in the center of West Haven at the Church of the Holy Spirit Episcopal Church, 28 Church Street Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

The program will conclude with two performances of ‘Xanadu JR’ on Friday, August 3rd (7:00 p.m.) and Saturday August 4th (2:00 p.m.) at Dodd’s Hall, University of New Haven.


Cost: $450 per participant for the seven week program (That’s under $70 per week!)

A. Enroll on or before June 1, 2018 and save $50 on your enrollment fee.
B. Enroll multiple family members and receive a $25 discount per child after first enrollee.
Note: WHSYT reserves the right to accept applications received after this date at the full cost.

Who is eligible: Youths ages 8-18.

Program Schedule: Tuesday, June 19*, 2018 – August 4, 2018

* Note: Auditions will begin on Monday, June 25th to accommodate students from outside towns whose academic year ends later. The first four days of camp will be a bonus session of acting workshops, improv, singing technique and audition prep.
