Fresh off the wildly successful RTBK summer workshop series that featured Harvey Fierstein, Dan Micciche, and Adam B. Shapiro, the Ridgefield Theater Barn is launching new workshops this fall, and registration is now open for all three.

For teens, RTBK is offering a musical workshop of Once Upon a Mattress, the hilarious and charming musical adaptation of the classic tale, The Princess and the Pea. Classes meet Tuesday and Thursday afternoons starting September 9.

The slightly younger set, ages 9-13, can sign up for the non-musical workshop, The Headless Horseman Rides Again, a charming comedy based on the classic tale of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Classes meet Monday afternoons beginning September 13.

And finally, Miss Anya is bringing back Glee, Jr. for 3rd to 5th graders. Kids learn to sing in a group focusing on good vocal habits and learning to sing in harmony. Classes will meet Thursdays and Saturdays beginning September 18th.

Space is extremely limited for all three workshops, so those interested are encouraged to register soon. All workshops will take place on the RTB outdoor campus and end in a performance for family and friends. All experience levels are welcome and as with all Theater Barn Kids’ workshops, no audition is necessary. Scholarship and financial assistance are available, as well as discounts for registering multiple children or for multiple workshops. For more information and to register, please visit
