The Suffield Players Auditions for “A Christmas Pudding” and ” Deathtrap”

The Suffield Players announce auditions for their winter productions of “A Christmas Pudding” by David Birney, and “Deathtrap” by Ira Levin, on November 4 at 6 pm and on November 5 at 7 pm at Mapleton Hall in Suffield CT.

“A Christmas Pudding” is our Staged Reading Benefit Challenge: performed with a minimum number of rehearsals, improvisational use of costumes, prop elements and sets at our theatre, and with scripts-in-hand on November 30, December 1st at 8 pm, and on December 2 at 2 pm at Mapleton Hall in Suffield. All proceeds go toward maintenance of Mapleton Hall, our historic theatre home. A very special kind of show, perfect for those who are Plentiful of  Talent and Festive Spirit, but Also Short On Rehearsal Availability! Join us for a quality theatrical, seasonal experience to suit you schedule in a busy time of year… and support our lovely Theatre as well.

The play consists of stories, songs and poetry of the season: there are roles available for actors, singers, and musicians of all ages.  Directed by Roger A. Ochs and Rob Lunde. Joyous and genuine!

“Deathtrap” is a classic murder mystery play: plot twists and turns, macabre humor, and  much dark merriment and mayhem. Roles for 3 men and two women, performing on February 7, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, and 23 2013 at 8 pm; on February 17 at 2 pm. Directed by Robert Lunde. Mature language and situations.
