The Connecticut Callboard website rebuild continues, here are some of the updates…
- Social Login is fixed so it works with Facebook, Linked-In, Google+ and Twitter. There are other social networks available that we can use, and if one of those is your favorite, please let me know, I’ll see if I can arrange it.
- The Event Calendar looks somewhat different from what you might remember from the old site. I think it’s an improvement, especially in terms of putting in new events for Auditions, Shows and Arts Education events. Please do have a look at it and let me know if it works well for you, or gives you fits. Either way, I want to know, so I can fix it.
- We have added an online directory of theatre professionals, to which you can add yourself. It’s a great way to get your name out there where people who might be looking for your particular skill set, can find you.
Because I’m using whole other framework for the website, I’m still learning a lot about what it can and cannot do, so expect there will be some bugs as we move forward. The good news is that the very same framework is very flexible and adaptable. If we find something that is just NOT working to our expectations (when I say “our”, I mean you and I), then we can trash it and try something else very easily.
As always, I value your opinion completely; feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org with any ideas, suggestions or complaints.
