This streamed production of Spring Awakening is co-produced by Broccoli Hall and Jake Egan O’Hara and features a host of incredible talent local to the Boston and New Hampshire areas, plus an incredible extended family and collaborators that includes Equity Stage Manager Elizabeth Yvette Ramirez* and cast members Alice Ripley* (Next To Normal; Tommy; Sunset Boulevard; Side Show, etc) and Beth Malone* (Fun Home, Unsinkable Molly Brown; etc) as “Adult Woman”; John Arthur Greene* (B’way revival West Side Story; OBC Matilda; OBC Tootsie; Company) as “Melchior”; Devon Stone* (nat’l tour of Spring Awakening) as Georg, and Tyla Collier* (off B’way: Sistas, Till) as “Anna”.

In this unique production, face masks are used as a modern metaphor for the themes of censorship, silence against knowledge and silence against citizenship.
