The Sorcerer is a sweet love story featuring Alexis, a young man with the goal of levelling ranks and social distinctions. To facilitate this objective, he hires a sorcerer to brew a love potion. Drinking the potion causes the villagers to fall in love with the first person they see and results in a comedy of mismatched lovers. The sorcerer, Wells, makes the ultimate sacrifice, in order to break the spell.
