Newington Mainstage is thrilled to present the fourth in their series of Brodway Master Classes – OWNING IT! with Broadway leading lady LAUREN KENNEDY – on Wednesday, December 19th at 7pm!

This performance technique class will make sure you give a standout performance – every time! Lauren will work with you one-on-one to mine the hidden gems in your performance materials while providing vocal techniques that enhance your performance. Whether you’ve already landed the job or are focused on bringing your audition material to another level, don’t miss this chance to get tips and game-changing resources from the amazing Lauren Kennedy. This class is NOT limited to musical theatre performers, but open to actors as well! You will have the choice to coach a song or a monologue.

On Broadway, Lauren starred as Lady of the Lake in Monty Python’s Spamalot, Daisy Hilton in Side Show, Fanitine in Les Misérables, and Sunset Blvd with Glenn Close. Off-Broadway credits include Mary in Vanitites, Good Ol’ Girls and Cinderella at New York City Opera. In London, Lauren was seen as Nellie Forbush in Trevor Nunn’s revival of South Pacific at The Royal National Theatre. She starred opposite Val Kilmer in The Ten Commandments at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles, and in the pre-Broadway production of Lone Star Love with Randy Quaid. Her debut solo album, Lauren Kennedy Songs Of Jason Robert Brown, and her second album, Here And Now, are both available on PS Classics. Lauren is the Artistic Director at Hot Summer Night’s At The Kennedy – a regional theatre in North Carolina, bringing intimate professional theatre to downtown Raleigh. She is most proud of her collaboration with husband Alan Campbell, their daughter Riley. Click HERE to visit Lauren’s official website.
