Open Auditions Tonight for Lysistrata

Hole in the Wall Theater is excited to announce auditions for the second show in our season, Lysistrata by Aristophanes in a raunchy new translation by Sarah Ruden.
Additional dates can be scheduled if we receive interest!
Synopsis: When the Greek army refuses to stop the war, Lysistrata leads a strike — no sex until peace is declared. Come enjoy some of the oldest dirty jokes in western civilization in Aristophanes’ raunchy comedy about power, persuasion, and getting it on. A proud, queer take on the ancient story.
The audition will consist of sides from the script, no monologue necessary.
We will be gender-fluid in our casting, with a preference for non-binary, gender non-conforming, drag kings, drag queens, butch, femme, and trans* actors. Performers of all ages, shapes, sizes and identifications wanted.
Any questions, please call (860) 223-9665.
