Pearwater Productions is still looking for actors for our production. This is a wonderfully funny and critically acclaimed romantic-comedy by Hartford Playwright and Director Jeffrey Kagan-McCann. My Gay Son’s Wedding takes a humorous look at Eric Callahan, a young, ambitious, uptight, gay Jewish-Catholic, lawyer from New Haven, Connecticut, who’s searching for the meaning of love, happiness and acceptance. The play begins when his boyfriend -Jason impulsively pops “The Question”. A reluctant Eric agrees, and wrestles with how to tell his family about his upcoming nuptials. Barraged with conflicting advice from family, friends and an ex-boyfriend who thinks otherwise, as the date grows closer Eric begins to feel overwhelmed by doubts and his commitment begins weigh on him, endangering his relationship. Will Eric and Jason get married? PAID Acting Position.
