Little Theatre of Manchester Casting for Pride & Prejudice

Little Theatre of Manchester is seeking a diverse and multi-racial cast for our June production of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, as adapted by Christopher Baker. There are 18 speaking roles for men and women from the ages of 20’s through their 60’s. There are an additional 10 non-speaking ensemble roles for Regency ballroom dancing. All roles are available. English accents are required.
Those auditioning should bring their resume; headshots will be taken at the theater. No monologue is required, as auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. There is an additional ensemble of 10 non-speaking roles for Regency ballroom dancing. Audition dates will be Sunday February 26, Monday February 27, and Wednesday March 1 at 6pm, with Wednesday March 2 to be used for callbacks, if necessary.
Auditions will be held at Cheney Hall, 177 Hartford Rd, Manchester, CT. Rehearsals will begin mid-March. This production will be directed by Debi Freund. Any questions can be directed to her at ddarla@aol.com.
