Synopsis
Nine year old B is three days away from her tenth birthday and is desperately trying to regain her lost ability from infancy: flight. If she can’t manage to do so before her birthday, she will lose this ability forever. Modeling after her heroine, Amelia Earhart, she’s built a cockpit in the oldest tree in her backyard. The morning after a large storm, B discovers A, a strange woman from the sky, occupying her plane. B believes the woman is in fact Earhart herself, who has been “lost” since she disappeared during her final flight across the Pacific. B sets out to help A complete her final voyage, and in return, A helps B conquer the limits of gravity.
