Sunday – 11/6 – Jekyll & Hyde Auditions – Colchester Community Theatre

The Colchester Community Theatre has scheduled auditions for its February 2017 production of Jekyll& Hyde through special arrangement with MTI.  “The epic struggle between good and evil comes to life on stage in the musical phenomenon, Jekyll & Hyde. Based on the classic story by Robert Louis Stevenson and featuring a thrilling score of pop rock hits from multi-Grammy- and Tony-nominated Frank Wildhorn and double-Oscar- and Grammy-winning Leslie Bricusse, Jekyll & Hyde has mesmerized audiences the world over.”

Auditions will be held on Thursday, November 3 from 6:30 – 8:30 pm and Sunday, November 6 from 1:30 – 3:30 at Congregation Ahavath Achim (Colchester Synagogue) Hall, 84 Lebanon Avenue in Colchester. No appointment is required.

Everyone should bring sheet music in the appropriate key and be prepared to sing. Please prepare 12-16 measures of a song that showcases your voice – preferably NOT from the show. No prerecorded music or a cappella singing will be permitted. An accompanist will be provided. Everyone will be asked to learn a short choreographed routine so please bring appropriate shoes.

Show dates for this production are February 17, 18, and 19, 2017. Anyone who is unable to attend the auditions on the above dates must contact us before November 2 to make other arrangements. CCT is sponsored by Colchester Parks & Recreation.
