Director Wanted!

City Youth Theater Inc./ City Stage Company has an immediate opening for creative team members for our SUMMER production of THE AMAZING LEMONADE GIRL. 

Meet Alex Scott. She has a story to tell – about her life and her legacy, her humor and her heart. The story of a young girl fiercely determined to make a difference despite the challenges she faces. Alex’s true story reminds us all that a single person can change the world – one act, or even one cup, at a time.

Our SUMMER production is for actors of all ages. All roles and positions are open. Placement is awarded based on audition and presentation quality. 

Individuals with previous experience as a Director and who have worked with amateur actors are welcome to apply. We will be considering Directors with strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Because it is crucial that the Artistic Team functions cohesively, we typically hire the Director first and then, with the Director’s assistance, hire the rest of the team. If there are creative teams who would like to be considered as a complete unit, please note that you are submitting applications as a team.
