CT Drama Festival

The Annual CT Drama Festival will be held March 9 & 10 at Platt High School in Meriden, CT.

Originally established in 1936, every year the CT Drama Association’s Festival brings together some of the top high school theatre programs in the state to perform one act plays of their choosing for each other and the public! Beginning on Friday, March 9 at 4 pm there will be a total of 12 productions (5 on Friday and 7 on Saturday) culminating in an award ceremony Saturday night at 9pm. Tickets are $10 a day, see as many shows that day as you like. Come experience the absolute best CT High School Theatre has to offer!


Friday, March 9– 4 pm Stamford High School (Joanna’s Story); 5:20 pm Kinsella Magnet School (Ella); 7:20 pm Platt High School (Game of Tiaras); 8:40 pm Westhill High School (Radium Girls); 10:10 pm Old Saybrook High School (Wanda’s Visit)

Saturday, March 10– 8:00 am Rockville High School (Lorca); 9:20 am Joel Barlow High School (The Lark); 10:40 am E.O. Smith High School (Begets); 1:35 pm Sacred Heart Academy (Stories I Ain’t Told Nobody); 3:00 Pomperaug High School (What the Dickens?); 4:25 pm Ellington High School (The Endless Arc); 5:45 Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy (Proof- Act 1)

Location: 220 Coe Ave, Meriden, CT

Cost: $10 per day, tickets available at the door
