Auditions for Immersive interactive Horror Play

Lachat Town Farm will hold an open call on Friday September 23 from 6-8pm and Saturday September 24 from 12-2pm at Lachat Town Farm 106 Godfrey Rd W, Weston, CT 06883. Non-union actors of all ethnicities and gender identities are encouraged to audition for roles in this exciting original immersive horror production The Necromancer. No pay. Seeking adult actors with strong improvisational abilities (ages 18-50) comfortable naturally communicating and acting with audience members and other actors as they try to solve the violent disappearance of a mysterious sanatorium patient. This immersive experience takes place indoors and outdoors. Actors must be comfortable walking uneven paths through a forest at night with flashlights. Each performance is about 60 minutes long. There will be at least three sets of lead actors performing in rotation over four evenings.

– Performance Dates: Oct 20, 21, 22, 23: 5:30-11pm.
(Rain dates 27, 28, 29, 30).
– Rehearsals: Oct 3-14, two possibly three evenings, based on availability, 7-10pm.
– Tech Week: Oct 16-19 from 6-10pm.
– Specific dates within that time frame TBD.

Only Auditioning Dr. Kross and Ava Deghan
– Dr. Steven Kross (30-45) A man of science who has a practical explanation for the strange occult circumstances happening.
– Ava Deghan (25-45) Strong, bewitching, attractive. Estranged sister of Vitus Deghan. Willing to believe in the supernatural if it allows her to find her brother.

Other parts needed: Young couple, Doctors, Patients, Orderlies, Police, Reporters, Occult Followers and…The Undead.
