ARTFARM announces Auditions for King Lear

The Middletown-based theater company ARTFARM announces public auditions for its 2014 Shakespeare in the Grove production of King Lear. Auditions will be held Thursday, March 6, 6 – 9 pm and Friday, March 7, 6 – 9 pm in Founders Hall at Middlesex Community College. Auditioners must register for one of the two dates, dress to move, and plan to spend the entire two hours. Please prepare a 1 – 2 minute Shakespeare monolog and bring a recent head shot and resume. Experienced men are particularly encouraged; there are a limited number of Equity contracts available. Ages 18 and over only, please. Stipend available for actors.
Middlesex Community College is located at 100 Training Hill Road in Middletown. Production dates are July 17 – 27 in the Cedar Grove at the College. Rehearsals begin May 27 and will be held on weekday evenings.
