A native of Suffield, CT, Leonhardt received much of his training through The Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts, The University of the Arts of Philadelphia, PA, and Jazz Tap Center’s Big Apple Tap Festival & Tradition in Tap of NYC both under scholarships. A student of Dianne Walker (Lady Di) and CT Tap great Clare O’Donnell (O’D), he remains the current dance captain of her company OD N TAP.
