Seeking a music director in the Avon area for Farming Valley Academy Montessori’s spring production of Peter Pan Jr.
Rehearsals begin in January and are flexible, approximately 2-3 daytime hours per week (students grades 1st-8th rehearse during the school day) leading up to the performance on Friday, May 25th, with additional time during tech week.

The Warner Theatre will present its 2nd Annual International Playwrights Festival October 17-19 in the Warner’s Nancy Marine Studio Theatre.
This festival is a celebration of new works by playwrights from across the country and around the globe. For the second year, 200 plays were submitted from across the United States and Canada and as far away as Australia, Israel and Great Britain. From these, 12 winners have been selected.

NEXT TO NORMAL Opens Friday, September 14 at the Warner’s Nancy Marine Studio Theatre Torrington, CT –The Warner Stage Company will begin the 2012-2013 Season on Friday, September 14 in the Warner’s Nancy Marine Studio Theatre with the 2010 Pulitzer Prize winning, NEXT TO NORMAL.
Winner of three Tony Awards and a 2010 Pulitzer Prize, rock musical NEXT TO NORMAL, explores how one suburban household copes with crisis and mental illness. Its story concerns a mother, Diana Goodman (played by Dawn Brown) who struggles with worsening bipolar disorder and the effect that her illness has on her family.
This contemporary musical is an emotional powerhouse that addresses such issues as grieving a loss, ethics in modern psychiatry, and suburban life. With provocative lyrics and a thrilling score, NEXT TO NORMAL shows how far two parents will go to keep themselves sane and their family’s world intact.
