Middle school students entering 5th-9th grades have the unique opportunity to be a part a 3-week musical theatre performance program running July 10th through July 28th. Students will work with professional theatre artists to mount a musical. The show this year is Singin’ In The Rain based on the hit MGM movie. NBYT’s Teen Company will hold auditions for William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet on Monday, February 20, and Wednesday, February 22, at NBYT’s new space at the New Britain-Berlin YMCA Program Center at 362 Main Street in Berlin. Audition times both days begin at 6:00 p.m. Rehearsal days are scheduled for Monday, Wednesday, and some Thursday evenings.
