NBYT’s 2018 summer musical is Willy Wonka Jr!

This musical adaptation of Roald Dahl’s children’s novel, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, includes songs from the 1971 film and a score of new songs as it follows poor young Charlie Bucket and four insufferable brats on their visit to Willy Wonka’s mysterious chocolate factory! In addition to the lead roles, an ensemble will create the Chocolate Factory workers including the adorable, hysterical, and judgmental Oompa Loompas!

Middle school students entering 5th-9th grades have the unique opportunity to be a part a 3-week musical theatre performance program running July 10th through July 28th. Students will work with professional theatre artists to mount a musical. The show this year is Singin’ In The Rain based on the hit MGM movie. Four-Week Program

Summer Studio Youth Ensemble

Ages 9-15 July 8-August 2    (with additional performances on Aug. 3) 9am-5pm $995 Register Now Students are cast in either a musical (Seussical the Musical, Jr.) or non-musical (The Seussification of A Midsummer Night’s Dream) production. Students spend mornings rehearsing and afternoons exploring elective classes of their choice. Once a week, the Youth Ensemble enjoys a field trip together.
