Seeking a diverse cast, featuring a strong African American lead!

The Opera House Players will be holding auditions for SISTER ACT at the Broad Brook Opera House, 107 Main Street, Broad Brook CT on Sunday October 8th and Monday October 9th at 7:00PM. Callbacks will be October 16th at 7:00PM.

Performance Dates are February 9–25 (9 performances: Friday/Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons). Rehearsals will begin in November.

Goodspeed’s Song Coaching Workshop is a unique professional development opportunity for anyone who coaches musical theatre artists on the academic, amateur, or professional level. Professor Brent Wagner, Emeritus Chair of the University of Michigan Musical Theatre Department, will lead this workshop designed to help educators and artists improve their ability to coach actors at any level on the dramatic interpretation of a musical theatre song. New Britain Youth Theater, which begins its eighth season this month, has been named Best Children’s Theater by the editors of Connecticut Magazine.
