Hiring Stage/Company Manager Immediately.  Multifaceted professional resident theatre staff needs stage/company manager for touring performance and education programs. 40% Stage Management, 40% Company Management, 20% Other. Repertory company, performances include summer tour of Two Gentlemen of Verona. Positive attitude, self-motivation and administrative and organizational skills, valid driver’s license mandatory. Some combination of experience with teaching, and/or Shakespeare and/or touring highly encouraged. Contract April 1 – August 15  $365-$385/week, plus housing. Potential for year-round contract extension. Non-AEA. Shakesperience was founded in 1996 by Emily Mattina and Jeffrey Lapham, with a mission to educate and inspire students, families, and theater professionals through the arts. The non-profit theatre company is headquartered on Bank Street in the heart of downtown Waterbury, Connecticut. There are two main components to the current fabric of Shakesperience’s programming: first is the Public Season, consisting of a tour of shows for adults and families throughout the Northeast; Shakespeare In Library Park; and the Spring and Fall Festivals of Theatre. Secondly, there is the Educational Season, that reaches over 70,000 students a year by visiting schools throughout Connecticut and the Northeast.
