Award-winning professional theatre hiring immediately. Seeking Stage/Company Manager worthy of Shakesperience’s dynamic staff to manage touring outreach repertory programs and the summer tour of Two Gentlemen of Verona. Duties include, but are not limited to, interdepartmental coordination organizing the staffing and travel details of tour, detailed reporting and recording, working closely with Artistic Director, and scheduling and running rehearsals, production meetings, auditions and performances.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience, clean driving record, experience teaching/working with all ages, tour experience
Essential Qualifications:
Energy, drive, patience, enthusiasm, trustworthiness, assertiveness, sense of humor, loyalty, punctuality, organizational skills, willingness to relocate, and valid driver’s license

Compensation to be determined upon application/interview. Potential for year-round contract extension and salary increase. Contract can include housing, March 28 – August 15. Potential for year-round contract extension. Non-AEA. EOE. Email resume, cover letter, and 3 email references to Jeffrey

Shakesperience was founded in 1996 by Emily Mattina and Jeffrey Lapham, with a mission to educate and inspire students, families, and theater professionals through the arts. The non-profit theatre company is headquartered on Bank Street in the heart of downtown Waterbury, Connecticut. There are two main components to the current fabric of Shakesperience’s programming: first is the Public Season, consisting of a tour of shows for adults and families throughout the Northeast; Shakespeare In Library Park; and the Spring and Fall Festivals of Theatre.
