Capital Classics is now accepting submissions of 10-minute and one-act plays from Connecticut writers (applicants must be Connecticut residents at the time of submission) for our Connecticut Classics Writer’s Series.

• Selected scripts will be produced by Capital Classics in March, 2012.
• Play scripts will be accepted until February 1, 2012.
• All scripts must adhere to the Script Submission Requirements.

Script Submission Requirements

• All play scripts must be submitted electronically to literary@capitalclassics.org
• There is no fee for submissions
• Musicals are not accepted.
• Only one submission will be accepted from each playwright, so send your best work!  Multiple entries will not be read.

Be sure to include:

• Cover page with playwright’s name, address, e-mail, and phone number
• A playwright’s biography (not to exceed one page); Please note if you are a student, and if so, in what program
• A character breakdown at the start of the script

Additional Details:

• Play scripts are accepted in Microsoft Word or as PDFs.
• Scripts must not have received a professional production.
• Due to the volume of submissions, feedback will not be provided.
