Join us for this seminal and moving work of docudrama exploring the community of Laramie, Wyoming following the murder of gay university student Matthew Shepard. This year is the 20th anniversary of Matthew’s death, and this play about hatred, identity, and how we cope with and respond to violence in our midst could not be more relevant and timely. Come engage with this play as it examines and questions what it means to heal, learn, and move forward. Originally created by the Tectonic Theatre Company using interviews they conducted with the people of Laramie, this play continues to help focus worldwide attention on hate, LGBT rights, and hope. There will be a talk back following each performance.
