Award winning Two Planks Theater Company is seeking an experienced set designer/builder for their 2018 summer theater in-the-park series. Duties include designing a fully interchangeable set for two shows at a large outdoor venue. The Castle Craig Players are seeking a Music Director for their summer production of COMPANY. Ideal candidates should have prior MD experience, and a familiarity with the show and style is preferred. There is stipend offered for this position.

Rehearsals begin in early-mid June, and will be held Sunday afternoons and 2-3 nights per week (TBD). The show runs July 27-August 5. Rehearsals & performances held at the Almira F. Stephan Memorial Playhouse, 59 West Main Street, Meriden.

Playhouse on Park seeks a Scenic Charges for our upcoming productions of Polkadots: The Cool Kids Musical! and In The Heights

 

Responsibilities:

  • Implement the paint elevations as set forth by the Scenic Designer
  • Purchase all required Paint/Materials, staying within budgetary constraints
  • Work efficiently and accurately
  • Supervise paint over-hires and volunteers as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Scenic Charge/Charge Artist experience preferred.
  • Evening/Overnight availability preferred, but not required.
