Cie Peterson

Cie Peterson is a native New Yorker, who began her actor training as a teenager studying at the renowned Gene Frankel Workshop in the Broadway district. Later in life she continued her studies with noted acting coach Sande Shurin, while performing in a variety of venues: stage appearances, dinner theater, national PSA's, a Nickelodeon theme park, two different summers doing Shakespeare-in-the-park, and even some costume character work for the NY Mets. Continuing her education, Cie went on to earn a Masters degree in theater from Hunter College in NYC, and in 2000 she completed a ten-month course in Meisner training, with Sanford Meisner apprentice Larry Silverberg. In 2003, Cie moved to the Hartford area, immediately building a reputation of excellence as a teaching artist, acting coach, and director, Occasionally, she accepted an acting role, including a few appearances on the Emmy-nominated, ESPN web series Mayne Street and a staged reading at Hartford Stage. In June 2008, her voice was cast as series regular Miss Pringles in the My Lil’ World cartoon that was being developed for the ION network. Since then she has worked primarily as a voiceover actor regularly booking commercials, corporate videos, documentaries, and even some audio books. You can hear samples of her work at Cie has also developed a grown-up cartoon series entitled IF I HAD A DIME that you can learn more about by visiting
