Cue & Curtain Players will be holding auditions on Saturday, February 10 from 1 to 3 o’clock in the afternoon and Thursday, February 8 from 7 to 9 o’clock in the evening, for their production of the drama “afterlife: a ghost story” by Steve Yockey, at the East Hartford Community Cultural Center, 50 Chapman Place. Cast consists of 3 men, ages late thirties to late teens; 3 women, ages early twenties to mid-sixties. The show will be performed in late April/early May. The story: A ghost story in the most literal sense, “afterlife” follows married couple Connor and Danielle as they prepare their beachfront home for an impending storm. But when the storm rolls in faster than expected, it may be too late for the them to escape the haunting world of unsent letters, unexpected snow, unfinished sand castles, unrelenting birds, and unforgettable loss that threatens to swallow the pair forever.
