Center Stage Theatre in Shelton will hold auditions for “A Christmas Carol, the Musical” on Saturday, October 4th between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Casting will be age appropriate, so both child and adult candidates are eligible. Well-known Middletown resident Peter Loffredo, most often celebrated for his work as a director, will take the stage at Oddfellows Playhouse for a production of the 1975 Tony winner for Best Play, Peter Shaffer’s “Equus.”

The play is being presented by Connecticut Heritage Productions and will be directed by Carolyn Kirsch, herself an important part of the Middletown theater community and a veteran of fifteen Broadway shows.
